Verdi’s Italian masterpiece opens Opera Colorado’s 40th Anniversary Season, featuring unforgettable music, including the effervescent “La donna è mobile.” The jaded jester Rigoletto serves the reckless Duke of Mantua and his hedonistic court. Little does Rigoletto know the womanizing duke has seduced his naive daughter, Gilda. How far will Rigoletto go to protect his only family?
