Vibraphonist, composer Ted Piltzecker returns to Colorado with an All- Star group. He has toured and recorded with the George Shearing Quintet, performed with his own ensembles all over the world, directed the jazz program at the Aspen Music Festival for many years, released six albums as a leader, and is an award-winning composer. After his last packed event at Dazzle, he recorded “Vibes On A Breath” - a septet album with four horns playing his distinctive arrangements of standards and originals. On this date at Dazzle he will, once again, surround himself with Denver’s extraordinary talent: Brad Goode-trumpet, Gonzalo Teppa-bass, and Paul Romaine-drums. The visit will culminate with another recording thanks to a grant from “Pathways To Jazz” and the Boulder County Arts Alliance.
