HELLO, GOODBYE, I LOVE YOU: A New American Folklore
Event Details
Join us for a festive celebration of identity, community, joy and resilience and help us write today’s folklore for the future! Bharatanatyam dance artist Nadhi Thekkek of Nava Dance Theatre and queer interdisciplinary artist, performer Black Benatar (aka Beatrice Thomas) from the Bay Area, Hold Tight Dance Company, Japanese Arts Network, CDS Creative Productions, and other Denver live music, visual, and performing artists present an immersive ‘happening’ which explores the cultural intersectionalities between traditional expectations and contemporary desires in the myriad ways we say Hello, Goodbye, and I Love You.
Stick around after the immersive performance and join us for a FREE dance party from 8-10 p.m
This event is supported by Denver Arts & Venues through the Cultural Partner Activation Program
